This modern NPK fertilizer contains magnesium, sulfur and microelements.
It has a wide spectrum of application and contains an inhibitor of
nitrification, which prolonges the availabity of nitrogen up to 12
weeks. The nitrogen contained in fertilizers usually has one of two
forms - nitrate or ammonium. The nitrate form of nitrogen is quickly
absorbed by plants, but is quickly washed out into the deeper layers of
the soil. The ammonium form of nitrogen is more stable, but during the
process of nitrification it is converted into the nitrate form. Due to
the process of nitrification, plants are not able to use the whole
nitrogen that was brought to the soil with the fertilizer. The inhibitor
contained in ENTEC slows down the nitrification process, stables the
ammonium form and prolongs the time of nitrogen availability in soil up
to 12 weeks. This more effective way of nitrogen transformation lowers
the level of harmful nitrates in fruit and vegetable crops.
